Work In Style: The Wax Space in Dallas, TX

For this week’s customer spotlight, we’re looking at our collaboration with The Wax Space, a coworking site located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, TX. Garza Interiors designed the Wax Space with synergy and style in mind. Individuals can work together in a peaceful yet energizing environment that uses modern designs, lively plants, and Riad’s Maya Blue Cement tile to stimulate creativity.

We know we’re not alone when we say that for us, getting into a productive mindset has a lot to do with our surroundings. Being in an open, shared space where you can feed off others’ productivity is always conducive to a good day’s work. Getting your creative juices flowing requires a relaxed area where work and play live in perfect equilibrium, and that’s why we recommend going to The Wax Space. Take a look:

The blue hue of the bar promotes calm, and the meandering greens bring life and vital energy to the space. The Wax Space utilizes simple, focused designs so that you focus on your work without feeling stifled.

The Maya Blue Cement Tile on The Wax Space’s bar creates a captivating pattern. The soothing blue of the cement balances the complex geometric lines for a look that stimulates the mind without being overwhelming. Dark blue and white is a striking color combination and brings to mind the Mediterranean and calming tones of the Adriatic Sea.

Can’t keep plants alive at home? The Wax Space can serve as a space where you don’t have to worry about the chores of everyday life that can get in the way of getting work done. Enjoy the ambiance of flora without worrying about soil and dead leaves. The greenery over the bar with glass hanging lights is gorgeous and incorporates nature. The natural movement of living plants juxtaposed with our tile lines is perfectly contrasting in every way. Plants also bring energy into the space, which is always helpful around that 2 pm lag.

This layout is no coincidence; Garza Interiors thought through each component of the Wax Space with workers in mind. Here’s a blurb about the intentional design from The Wax Space’s website:

“Our space has been thoughtfully designed to help you get work done. Enjoy comfortable booths made for collaboration, an inspiring lounge area for taking breaks, and plenty of nooks and tables for deep, focused work…Where you work affects your productivity, mood, social life, and so much more. Come discover the future of work with us.”
