Customer Spotlight: Ashley Creates an Outdoor Oasis with Our Emerald Green Zellige
It may be February, but we’re dreaming of warmer weather—and what better way to get in the mindset than by looking at an incredible outdoor space designed by one of our customers?
Ashley Dalton, a repeat customer of Riad Tile and founder of Ashley Dalton Interiors, recently used our 2″x6″ Emerald Green Zellige tile to create a dreamy oasis on a rooftop in Dallas.

As you can see in the photo above, the emerald green tiles used in Dalton’s rooftop design give the pool a bright and refreshing look. The vivid jewel-toned color pairs beautifully with the deep blue tiles creating a luxe, resort-style space ideal for relaxing with friends and family.

To bring the look to life, Dalton constructed a separate lounge area featuring neutral tones with wood accents to create a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. To add warmth, she hung two rattan swing chairs next to an inviting dining table. A touch of greenery completes the scene and complements the lush landscape surrounding the patio.
We’re ecstatic to see our 2×6 Emerald Green Zellige tile featured in such a picturesque space. Zellige tile is a versatile material that you can use in various settings—and we’re always thrilled to see how our customers use the tiles in their designs!
Although Zellige is one of the best tiles for pools, many of our customers and interior designers use it to create a custom backsplash in a kitchen or bathroom. In December, Dalton featured our Natural White Zellige tile in a stunning bathroom makeover.

Notice how the 2″x6″ Natural White Zellige tile complements the rich wood tones in the dual vanities and cabinetry. The sleek lines of the tub further accentuate the clean design of the space, and the natural light pouring through the windows lends the room a serene vibe. All in all, it’s a beautiful design that’s both functional and timeless.
Zellige tile has become one of the trendiest tile materials on the market thanks to its organic texture and unique aesthetic. What’s more? It’s incredibly durable and easy to clean, making it an excellent choice for indoor and outdoor spaces. That said, Zellige tile isn’t recommended for outdoor use in areas with freezing temperatures.
