For this week’s customer spotlight, we’re looking at this bathroom design by Loom + Kiln founder Hannah Loumeau Leonard. This stunning look features our 2×6 Blush Zellige on the walls and is transporting us to the opulent palaces and lush gardens of Marrakech. Take a look below:

Leonard paired our Blush Zellige with a bold patterned cement tile on the ground, an authentic rust-colored Persian rug, and stoneware with a hint of greenery. Every aspect of this room proves that divine design is in the details.

The rug and floor tile pattern clashing (read about the technique here) keeps the eye intrigued before gently guiding it to the blush zellige wall for rest.

Design is all about lines; the line your eye travels along from one aspect to the next, the sensation it evokes, and the level of engagement maintained throughout.

Leonard also has Black Zellige on another wall, proving that two tyoes of Zellige is better than one. We love the dusty pink of our Blush Zellish contrasted against glimmering black, with a white, patterned tile floor breaking them up in between.

The hanging brass lantern above the tub only adds to the impression of a lush Moroccan getaway. We can’t always hop on a plane to the riads of Morocco, and this bathroom by Loom + Kiln is the next best thing.
