The Top 5 Marble Bathrooms of the Month

Marble tile is a dynamic and impressive component of interior design. Choosing the right tile is just as crucial as picking the perfect sink and tub. Marble tiling can be an eye-catching centerpiece or play a supporting role. Here are our favorite bathrooms that blow us away with their marble tiles.

1. Tuft & Trim

In this bathroom, Tuft and Trim accents the shape of the shower by matching its proportions with our Casablanca Carrara Marble 6”x12″ tiles. This offsets the shower nook from the rest of the bathroom and transforms it into a refuge where you can lose yourself in warm water and steam. They use the beautiful 2” Hexagon Mosaic tiles to offset the right angles of the shower and countertop and create a more organic feel that pairs wonderfully with their floral wallpaper for an effect that evokes a natural sanctuary of flowering vines and pebble beaches. This bathroom is where you can finally breathe out the stress of your day and return to yourself.

Here, @nicholnaranjo uses tile to highlight the gorgeous architecture and furnishings of the room. The Casablanca Carrara Marble 6”x12″ tiles in the wainscotting create a clean, neutral background so that the brass fixtures can stand out. The wainscotting also complements the window’s geometry and amplifies the effect of all the natural lighting it brings in. This bathroom also couples 6”x12” tiles on the wall with hexagonal tiles on the floor but opts for the larger Casablanca Carrara 5″ Hexagon Mosaic tiles instead. This bold choice creates a more geometric design that amplifies the angular plumbing and contrasts the gentler curves of the tub and side table. This bathroom’s contrasts and harmonies bring baroque ornamentation and modern restraint into an aesthetic we can’t get enough of!

In this stunning bathroom by designer Eclectic Twist, our Norwegian Rose Marble 6″x12″ tiles take center stage. A freestanding copper tub enhances the warm, relaxing atmosphere of the space. But the natural beauty of this design is how easily replicable it is. Just panel a wall with Norwegian Rose Marble, add large plants to contrast the color, and include an angular fixture–like the starburst chandelier in this bathroom–to highlight the tile’s lines, and voila! Close your eyes, and you can imagine candlelight dancing on striations of marble, a glass of red wine in your hand, and rose petals floating around you. For a more geometric twist on this design, try the Norwegian Rose Marble in the 5” Hexagonal Mosaic or the Diamond Mosaic designs instead.

Here KJ Design Collective shows that you don’t always have to go big to add a splash of color to your bathroom. They floor their shower with the Norwegian Rose Marble 6″x12″ tiles, and it works wonderfully. The pink marble tile is gentle enough not to clash with the clean white look of the rest of the bathroom and warm enough to work with the wooden cabinetry to add a touch of color and life to the space. Sometimes a slight touch is all you need to take your decor to the next level.

5. Home and Chaos [image]

Last but certainly not least is this beautiful room from @home.and.chaos. Once again, the tile is the real showstopper here. The Casablanca Carrara & Nero Marquina Marble Large Hex Mosaic tiles tie together the bright whites of the walls and countertops and the darker tones of the wooden cabinetry. The result is a bright room with dark accents to stop your eyes from ever getting bored. If your bathroom brings together bright, clean surfaces and rich, dark furnishings, these tiles are the perfect choice to marry it all into a cohesive aesthetic.

Marble is an excellent choice for your bathroom, whether you’re looking to add an accent or centerpiece. Check out our marble tiles here, and follow us on Instagram @riadtile for more great ideas. Tag us in your designs for a chance to be featured in our Customer Spotlight series!
